Comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices (DoDI 5000.2), including understanding DoD and Air Force roles to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-, mid-, and long-term).

Assist the program manager in assessing schedule and cost baselines, recommending solutions, and pursuing alternate courses of action.

Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition for development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; develop strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings with program office teams, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies addressing warfighter capability gaps.

Formulate, recommend, and draft acquisition strategies and associated statutory/regulatory acquisition documentation in a timely manner.

Support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and assist the Government in drafting and reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.

Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews; develop briefings and schedules for program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.

Analyze program operations and implement approved process improvement initiatives.
